Located in the heart of Provence, Maffren Confiseur has been manufacturing high-end sweets since 1945 that have made it famous: calissons, nougats, almond paste, caramels and other confectionery.
Created after the war by Daniel Maffren, the confectionery settled in the village of Poet in the 1950s, in the premises of an old chocolate factory. At that time, the factory produced calissons and nougats from Provence.
It was in the 1980s that the company bought Verger du Roy, which made almond paste and was transferred to the Poet site. As well as the Confiserie des Alpes brand, which confirms the presence and attachment to the Alps and its gourmet riches.
