Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders for confectionery which you, the customer place on this website operated by us, Appetitus Ltd. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

Food Contents

Some products contain alcohol, nuts, egg, milk and other allergens. Please refer to product packaging for further information. It is your responsibility to understand the contents of the products and the impact of their consumption.

Distance Selling Directive

We only sell to or ship to the United Kingdom.  For regulatory reasons we do not sell to or ship to the EU 

Contract Not Made Until Agreed to By Us

“By clicking the ‘Accept’ or a similar function button you agree to these terms and conditions. By completing and submitting the electronic order form (or proceeding through the ‘checkout process’) you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Neither submitting an electronic order form or completing the checkout process constitutes our acceptance of your order.” If we do not accept your order we will refund your full purchase price within 3 working days.

*If your order has already been despatched you may return it in accordance with our Returns Policy

Returns & Claims

As the items are predominantly food returns are only available where the goods are delivered damaged.

Any shortage or damages must be notified on the delivery note and reported within 24 hours of delivery. Anything reported outside this time will not be accepted.

Items damaged in transit

Standard Post-delivery is at the risk of the buyer. Goods  damaged in transit are at the cost of the buyer.

Except for Standard Post-delivery without signature; if you take delivery of a package from us and the contents have been damaged in transit or are defective, we will exchange the damaged items without charge to you provided you return the damaged item(s) to us within 7 days of taking delivery and we have been given the appropriate notification above. We may at our discretion exchange without a return but the goods must be retained for inspection and photos provided.

Costs

We will reimburse any reasonable costs (for small parcels Royal Mail 2nd Class rate) you incur in returning Items which are damaged upon delivery or are defective or incorrect.

Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping.

Events beyond our reasonable control

Neither we, nor any courier or postal service that we use shall be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any public highway, riot, government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.

Alcoholic Products

Some of the items available to purchase from this Website contain intoxicating liquor. When you place an order for an alcoholic product using this Website, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over.

Alterations to this Website and Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right at any time to amend this Website, these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and such other policies as we may notify you of. You will be subject to the policies and Terms and Conditions in force at the time you use the Website or order items from the Website.We
